I love paper... When I saw these cornets just begging to be wrapped in luscious paper I bought lots, and I mean lots of them! Each package of 6 cornets includes a pattern for the outer and inner paper which makes assembly a snap. Check with your favorite stamp shop for availability. The following are a few samples - watch for more.

Holiday Sugar Plum Cornet

door1 Tip8-2

Filled with garden trimming and a cupcake turned "Sugar Plum." Thanks to Sandy Huff's creativity, our Single Cupcake (#2027) now sports a sprig of hand drawn holly and a plaid wrapper - ready for the holiday season. Perfect for that secret pal.

Harvest Cornet
Tip8-3 Tip8-4

Leaves and acorns (Two Acorns - #5004) never looked better... gracing the front of a cornet wrapped in pumpkin colored paper overflowing with autumn fruits.

Holiday Tree Cornet
Tip8-5 Tip8-6

Got scraps of paper? I do and they are perfect for this cornet project. With the cornet papered on the outside, I began to place loops of paper on the widest part of the cornets securing them with double sided tape. As I worked my way up to the top I reduced the width of the paper. At the top, I fluffed a bit of ribbon into the opening. Then I smooshed a cone of styrofoam into the cone, followed by a dowl rod for the trunk of the tree. Next, I used a small clay flower pot for the base, fitted with 1/2 of a round styrofoam ball. A little paint, a little glitter... almost there. I stamped a piece of twill tape with our Seasons Greetings (#10003) stamp and afixed it to the rim of the pot. Last, but not least, little plastic dew-drops on each loop. Yummy! I love these cornets!

Sweet Treats Stocking Cornet
Tip8-6 Tip8-8
This cornet is photographed on the door to my garden shed. I love the silvery blue greys shown with my Sweet Treat Stocking (#6013) . A collection of these will go down my staircase hand rail for Christmas - maybe filled with treats for Nicholas.
