Cool, handsome and a twinkle in his eye. Who can resist... Ready for the holiday season, this little guy is lots of fun to color! I'm using the Snowman with Checkered Hat (6004), but you can certainly try this with other snowman images. All colors shown in bold text refer to Prismacolor© pencils.

Step 1 - Getting Started

Chartreuse in the outer margin, hat, leaves and a touch of Deco Pink on his cheeks. Blue Slate in the stary sky and on his jaw.

Tip7-1
Step 2 - Lime Peel and Pumpkin

Lime Peel goes over the Chartreuse margins, holly leaves and begins to shade the left side of his cap. Don't forget that carrot nose with a pencil called Pumpkin.

Tip7-2
Step 3 - Final Touches

Add a bit more blue to the sky with Copenhagen Blue in the corners. Scarlet Lake finishes his ear muffs, scarf and sweater. Your little snowman is done!

Tip7-3
Here are a few samples of images I've colored for my Christmas cards.
